Beelitzer Heilstaetten Sanatorium in Beelitz, Germany. The complex represents a beautiful abandoned building of the XIX century (in 1898), which was used by the Germans as a military hospital during the Second World War. The resort has come into disrepair and was abandoned completely in 2000. Hospital acquired worldwide fame after treatment of Adolf Hitler, who was recovering after the wounds received in World War I (1916).
Visitors standing on the 'Baum und Zeit' means Tree and Time. The ground of platform is 200 meters with the height of 20 meters above the ground of the sanatorium building and at one point crosses directly over one of its ruined buildings. The hospital treating Nazi's during second world war and the hospital complex incorporates 60 buildings, including the building of surgery, mental hospital, and of course - the landfill. The hospital is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest.
