The village of Abhaneri is situated in eastern state of Rajasthan is on the most significant landmarks in the country. This is on the oldest step wells in India, and is considered one of the largest in the world. This well or Baori was built from VIII to IX century by king Chanda of Nikumba Chand dynasty to the surrounding areas have provided with a reliable source of water. Greenish water on the bottom of the Baori indicates that the well is now no one uses it, but this places interesting as an architectural landmark, which is over 10000 years old.
